We’re looking for a senior animator to strengthen the team for our singleplayer, story-driven, stealth/puzzling game. As an animator at River End Games you will be working closely with the Creative Director, Cinematic Director, Writer and Level Designers to bring the world to life. In your work you will be asked to both be innovative and come up with scenarios for the game but also assist level designers with more gameplay-centric animations like interactions and canned sequences.
You come from at least 5 years of experience within the games industry as an animator and have shipped at least 2 titles. You’ve worked with locomotion, keyframing and mocap editing using Maya and Motionbuilder. You are comfortable learning new techniques and software. It’s a big plus if you have a basic understanding of the different disciplines of game development and how they affect animation. Last but not least, you need to have a passion for storytelling and a love for bringing games to life.
